QUAD LOCK SECURES TITLE SPONSORSHIP OF AMA RACE-WINNING HONDA TEAM

The newly christened Quad Lock Honda Racing Team will compete in the 2025 AMA Supercross, Motocross, and SuperMotocross Championships. The Quad Lock Honda Racing Team will showcase two strong contenders at each round, beginning at A1 with Joey Savatgy and Shane McElrath aboard the championship-winning 2025 CRF450R. Both riders enjoyed an outstanding off-season, with Savatgy capturing the 450 Australian Supercross Championship and securing third place in the World Supercross Championship, while McElrath claimed both the Australian and World 250 Supercross titles.
Savatgy is approaching the AMA Supercross season with cautious optimism. “With over 18 top-level riders in the 450 class, we’re taking a measured approach to the initial rounds. Our goal is to secure maximum points early on and reassess in February,” he said.
McElrath echoed similar sentiments, reflecting on his late entry to the team. “In December, I wasn’t sure of my plans, but I knew I wanted to be part of this team. I’m focusing on the Supercross Championship and hope to earn enough points for SMX later in the year,” he shared.
The team will also feature Carson Mumford in the East Coast Championship on a CRF250RWE, with Dean Wilson competing in select rounds.
