If you missed out on the Apple announcement, take a look at a guided tour of the iPhone 14 series below.
What are the big differences between the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14?
Dynamic Island
The biggest change to the face of iPhone since Apple's introduction of the all screen feature…Apple removes the infamous display notch for the Pro models, replacing it with the all-new Dynamic Island.
The new notch will feature a pill-shaped cut-out design that not only houses the Face ID and selfie camera but now adds a never before seen function to the new iPhone 14 Pro series.
Take a glimpse of the new Dynamic Island below:
Dynamic Island allows for an interactive experience, allowing you to access your notifications, alerts, activities in one place.
Camera
Speaking of cameras, it would not be an Apple update without an extravagant camera update. The iPhone 14 Pro models received the majority of upgrades, featuring a 48MP main camera compared to the 12MP main camera used in the iPhone 13 range. This will provide drastic improvements in the Pro camera system from capturing amazing low light photography to cinematic mode that is now available in 3K and 4K.
Notably, the standard iPhone 14 models will not be receiving the same upgrades and will remain using a 12MP camera. On the bright side, all the iPhone 14 models are receiving an upgraded front camera with a wider f/1.9 aperture to achieve sharper and clearer photos for the perfect capture.
Emergency SOS via Satellite
The entire iPhone 14 lineup introduces a satellite Emergency SOS feature allowing you to send emergency messages when out of cellular or Wi-Fi range. This groundbreaking feature also lets users manually share their location over satellite with Find My to provide a sense of security when going out on adventures off the grid. This feature will initially be only available for the USA and Canada.
Let’s compare all four models…
